Direction: Shaji Khailas
Cinematography: Shaji
Editing: Samjith

First things first, director Shaji Khailas' Mohanlal starrer RED CHILLIES is one of those idiotic, mindless potboilers, with enough number of punch dialogues, low angle shots, and violent editing gimmicks to satisfy the typical mohanlal fan!
The film begins with 'Red Chillies', the popular gang of radio jockeys working for a Radio Station in Kochi, owned by the singapore based business giant OMR. On the new year's eve, the Red Chillies gang gets into deep trouble & then the terror ride begins!
Mohanlal plays OMR, the man who knows it all, and the rest is known to all!
On the technical side, Camera by Shaji gives you a high-end eye problem and editing by Samjith adds to the headache.
In the end, what the audience get, is a set of glossy reels consisting millions of shots, added together to form one hell of a headache movie, which is a pain to watch! So thats one out of five, and a thumbs down for Shaji Khailas' RED CHILLIES. Watch it if you are a Mohanlal Fan, and the chances are that you wont be dissapointed!
My Rating: 1 / 5 (Mass action thriller)
