Direction: Danny Boyle
Music: AR Rahman
Cinematography: Anthony Dod Mantle
Editing: Chris Dickens
Intellectuals might call it "Mediocre and senseless"; but believe me, Slumdog Millionaire is that rare senseless movie, which gives your senses a rest! Wildly silly, but entirely watchable, it is no classic by any chances. And the movie is best enjoyed when you dont take it too seriously.

Based on Vikas Swarup's Indian bestseller Q&A, the plot of Slumdog Millionaire revolves around a city underdog, Jamal Malik, his life adventures, his love & his destination. Gripping at most parts, its unpredictability lies in the predictability of the plot. Revealing more about the movie would only spoil the fun of watching it. And let me tell you, the movie wouldn't be half as good as this, if it weren't for AR Rahman's brilliant music & Anthony Dod Mantle's breathless cinematography; the crisp editing by Chris Dickens adds to the charisma!

Out of Jamal's three phases, the first one creates a huge impact. The film is not a perfect in any way. Infact, the script goes loose many a times, but its charactors and their brilliant potrayals keep us glued on to the screen!
And finally, when the end credits start rolling, you see the actors dancing to Rahman's beautifully composed "Jai Ho". And that is when you get reminded that even if the film is an out & out hollywood production, its very own heart lies at India!
So its four out of five for Dany Boyle's SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE; Its a buoyant hymn to life, and a movie to celebrate. Watch it; get entertained, touched, and inspired!
My Rating: 4 / 5 & a must watch stamp (Highly explosive Drama)

hehe...u hav got a point der ;-)
undoubtedly a brilliant movie...and a great BG (especially the one frm the railway station)
But 1 doubt :
How did the 2nd Jamaal learn radiant english that outsmarted the westerners?
2. When did KBC bcm a live prog?
HEHE...ne poi athinte directerinte aduth chodhikkada...
When I saw the movie, i really found it very interesting... The flow of the movie is electrifying.... The editor Chris Dickens has played an important role in maintaining the pace of the story... I am really happy to know that this movie is getting nominated for academy and other prestigious awards....
But, I want to know the answer of one question- If instead of Danny Boyle, any Indian would have made the movie... Will this movie would have got the recognition that it is getting today????
haha...u hav asked d same question wich many indian film makers across d country hav askd (includin ppl like priyadarshan nd many otherz)...nd in my opinion, dat questn shud nevr arise...bcz, no indian film maker wud hav such a brave attempt to make dis muvi, & even if an Indian wud hav made it, d muvi wud never hav been d same.....
Even I agree dat this muvi is no classic, but to b frank, I lost myself inside d muvi...I hav never felt dat way in d last few years aftr watchin a muvi...
d biggest strength of slumdog millionaire is dat d muvi is silly(WILDLY SILLY) and still touches ur heart, nd dats because, Danny Boyle has moulded d muvi in such a way dat, neither d muvi dusnt take itself seriously, nor d viewers!...fr example, if mani ratnam wud hav made d muvi, he wud hav surely shown India in a differnt way, but dat dusnt add any goodness to d muvi...
as a filmmaker, our aim is to stick on to d pace nd feel of d muvi...Danny Boyle has done just dat!:-)
